Walks
Our walks are Wednesday Ambles and Saturday Rambles.

Ambles are gentler walks, usually visiting a pub for lunch.

Rambles are longer walks, usually about 7 miles, and we
take along a packed lunch.

Ambles
All walks take place on the third Wednesday of each month
starting at 10.30 am.

Walks are usually between 4 and 5 miles long, and we normally start at and return to a pub for lunch.

Next Amble: Wednesday 18 March, 10.30am
Meet at the Smithy Forge pub/eatery, 7 Lichfield Road, Brownhills, WS8 6HR, for a 10.30 am start.
Map: OS Landranger sheet 139 (Grid Reference SK 047 057)
Directions:
From Streetly, take the A452 Chester Road to Brownhills, go through the High Street to the Iron Man island. Turn right onto Lichfield Road and the pub is immediately on left. Please park on the far left along the tree line. Note: The pub does not open until 12 noon so toilets are not available. We do
not need to pre-order lunch, but the pub will need numbers on the day, before we set off on the walk.
The walk is approx 4 miles, and includes Chasewater. It is flat, mainly parkland, canal towpath and disused railway line.
The break will be at Chasewater visitors centre where drinks etc can be purchased (card only payment)
and toilets are available.
