Royal Sutton Coldfield Centre
for the National Trust

Walks
Our walks are Wednesday Ambles and Saturday Rambles.
Ambles are gentler walks, usually visiting a pub for lunch.
Rambles are longer walks, usually about 7 miles, and we
take along a packed lunch.
Ambles
All walks take place on the third Wednesday of each month
starting at 10.30 am.
Walks are usually between 4 and 5 miles long, and we normally start at and return to a pub for lunch.
Next Amble: Wednesday 17 June, 10.30am
Meet at Middleton Hall, B78 2AE. Map: OS Landranger series 139, Grid Ref. SK 188 985.
Directions
Middleton Hall lies between The Belfry Hotel and Golf Course, and Drayton Manor Park, on the A4091.
From Sutton Coldfield take the A453 Tamworth Road to Bassetts Pole, then the A446 London Road (3rd exit) and after about ¼ mile take the first road on the left, Coppice Lane and proceed to Middleton Village. At the T-junction in the vil-lage, turn left into Church Lane and continue to the A4091. Cross the A4091, with care, and head straight into the Hall drive.
Parking will be in the Hall’s car-park.
Toilet facilities will be available.
Note: There is an optional donation of £3.00 per car for parking. However, we have decided that in lieu of making a donation via the QR Code at the car-park, we will increase the cost of each person walking by £1.00, with the additional revenue being handed to Middleton Hall as our donation.
The walk is approximately 3½ miles in length, along a canal towpath, fields, road and track. There are no stiles. Afterwards, light snacks will be available at Middleton café.
LEADERS: Jo and Sue
A charge of £2 per participant is made for each amble.
Dogs: Sorry, but assistance dogs only permitted on ambles.
Details of the ambles are sent out by email; if you would like to be added to the mailing list please send your email details to ntsccambles@gmail.com
